Processing Pergola Piedmont

The Piemont metal pergola is welded by hand from steel profile tubes, is hot-dip galvanized and powder-coated in black. We are happy to produce other colors on request. The starting segment of the Piemont pergola is 600 centimeters long, 300 centimeters deep and 300 centimeters high. It is leaned against the house wall on one side. Four posts made of eight by eight centimeter profile tubes with pine cone ends and post spacing of 160 centimeters each support the slatted roof. The posts are screwed onto a concrete or stone foundation. Base plates with 4 holes welded to the posts are used for this purpose. The Piemont pergola must be assembled and installed by a specialist company. We would be happy to produce a version according to your measurements and ideas. The 14 finely structured supports (slats) are four centimeters wide and eight centimeters high. The support spacing measures 42 centimeters each with a 32 centimeter overhang at both ends of the pergola. The situation directly at the house is often complex with different projections, door frames and other structural features. We will produce a technical drawing free of charge and without obligation that takes your special requirements into account.

Description

Pergola Piemont – trellis for grape vines, wisteria or rambling roses

DThe pergola is a space-forming pillar walkway that decorates the transition area between the house and the terrace. In contrast to an arbor, the pergola is not usually free-standing but leans against an architectural form, as the Latin origin (pergula = porch/extension) already suggests. The exclusive metal pergola Piemont is based on this leaning construction. It is a modern trellis for grape vines, wisteria or rambling roses. With its elegant style, the pergola emphasizes and structures public or private outdoor areas. The pergola can cover the entire terrace, or just a small part of it. It can also bridge the garden entrance to the front door. Thanks to the filigree, open metal construction, the metal pergola allows plenty of light to enter the building. Enjoy your summer evenings like in the south. Under blooming climbing roses that hang down from the pergola like a veil.

Advantages of the Piedmont Pergola

Advantages of the Piedmont Pergola

Pergola Piemont detached from the building

The word "pergola" is derived from the Latin "pergula", which can be translated as "extension". In fact, pillars or colonnades with this name were already popular in ancient times. They served primarily as a connection between two buildings or a house and the terrace. In the Renaissance, they came back into fashion and, with lush vines, developed into an important element of the ornamental garden. Today, landscape gardeners also use pergolas in garden design completely independently of the building. This is because they can give the green realm additional structure and are of course real eye-catchers. While pergolas were originally mostly made of wood, metal is now also often used.

Natural shade and sun protection – Pergola Piemont

With the Piedmont metal pergola you can create natural sun protection that changes with the seasons. In summer, the overgrown pergola provides welcome shade. In the cold season, after the leaves have fallen, it lets the winter sun shine. The Piedmont pergola is based on the 300 centimetre high starter segment with a length of 600 centimetres. It can be individually extended by one metre at a time. If desired, the Piedmont metal pergola can be extended to create a privacy screen with additional trellises between the posts.
