High-quality steel winter gardens made to measure
We manufacture our winter gardens from hot-dip galvanized steel. This is only hot-dip galvanized after all welding work has been completed, so that even the weld seams that are particularly susceptible to rust are hot-dip galvanized. The steel profiles are also hot-dip galvanized on the inside.
The hot-dip galvanized steel beams are then additionally powder coated. The powder coating is usually done with colors from the English manufacturer Farrow & Ball, which shine with their high pigment density and appeal to the senses. By treating the steel beams in this way, we ensure that rust or corrosion have no chance. Not even in the salty air by the sea.
With steel we can also build very large buildings and even two-story greenhouses. Other common conservatory materials such as wood, aluminum and PVC are only suitable to a limited extent. Steel is also particularly suitable for conservatories that are inhabited all year round.
For the glazing, we use single, double or triple glazing depending on the object and customer requirements. Single glazing is typically found in greenhouses or cold conservatories. While double and triple glazing is a must for conservatories that are inhabited all year round. Roof windows and floor flaps (for fresh air) come with electronic window lifters as standard. They can therefore be connected to the conservatory's electrical climate control, together with the heating devices and the ceiling fan.
We offer a range of options when it comes to shading. These can vary greatly depending on the local climate and the direction of the conservatory and always require careful planning.
With a few exceptions, winter gardens, like most building projects, require a building permit. We are here to help you, prepare the documents for the building permit application and can also submit the building permit application for you through our architects.
